Our story
From the streets of Ramallah to building digital futures — this is how it all began.
Our story starts, like many Palestinian stories, with persistence.
In the bustling markets of Ramallah, long before laptops or code editors, a man named Mohammad AbuEin carried a basket of goods from town to town, selling what he could with patience and determination. That man — our father — eventually opened a small grocery shop at the entrance of Ramallah’s central fruit and vegetable market, Al-Hisba. From there, he laid the foundation for our family’s first major business: Palalum Aluminum Factory, established in 1963.
He built something from nothing. And he never forgot the people who helped along the way.
By the 1990s, his reputation in the aluminium industry was known across Palestine. His shop in Al-Manarah square became a trusted hub — not just for materials, but for relationships. As children, we (Salah and Almutasem) would often help out after school, learning what it meant to serve a customer, to listen, to build trust.
In 1997, our father gave us a gift that changed everything: our first computer. We still remember the excitement of installing NBA Live 98. For Salah, it was the spark — a love for technology, design, and what the internet could become. A few years later, he learned HTML in school. The rest is, well, code.
As we grew older, our paths diverged, but our values stayed aligned.
Almutasem immersed himself in business strategy and law, helping manage the family company and later leading operations with a keen eye for people and process.
Salah focused on technology — blending creativity with code, eventually becoming a full-stack developer and software architect, working in both public and private sectors across the UK.
Our long-time friend, Majd, a natural with numbers and finance, joined us as the third pillar of this venture — balancing innovation with structure.
Together, we founded AbuEin Technologies — a boutique digital studio rooted in heritage, purpose, and possibility.

From HTML school projects to enterprise systems, Salah brings 25+ years of hands-on experience in web development. He’s passionate about usability, accessibility, and building platforms that just make sense.
